Terms of Use

1. Purpose

This policy establishes New Pathway Recovery's standards for SMS/text message communications with clients and website privacy practices, ensuring compliance with mobile carrier requirements (10DLC/TCR registration), applicable telecommunications regulations, and client privacy protections.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all SMS/text message communications sent by New Pathway Recovery to clients, and to the privacy practices governing personal information collected through the organization's website.

3. Privacy Policy

New Pathway Recovery ("the organization," "we," "us," or "our") respects client privacy. This section explains what personal information is collected through the organization’s website, how it is used, and who it may be shared with.

Information Collected

The organization may collect personal information provided directly by website visitors and clients, including name, phone number, email address, and any information submitted through web forms, intake paperwork, or SMS opt-in. Protected health information (PHI) is not collected through the website; PHI is collected and handled separately under the organization's HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, provided to clients at intake.

Personal information collected is used to respond to inquiries, schedule appointments, send appointment reminders and account notifications (including via SMS or email), and otherwise communicate with clients about services.

Who Information Is Shared With

The organization does not sell personal information and does not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates.

Information may be shared with service providers who assist in operating the organization's business (for example, the electronic health record and scheduling platform), solely for the purpose of delivering services to clients, and as otherwise required by law.

SMS Communications

By opting in through a web form or other medium, clients consent to receive SMS messages from the organization, such as appointment reminders and account notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Clients may text STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance.

SMS consent is not shared with third parties.

Client Choices

Clients may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP, and may contact the organization using the information in Section 5 with any questions about their personal information.

4. SMS Terms of Service

By opting into SMS messaging from a web form or other medium, the recipient agrees to receive text messages from New Pathway Recovery. Messages may include appointment reminders, scheduling notifications, and account-related communications.

Opt-Out

Recipients may opt out of SMS messaging at any time by replying STOP to any message. Upon opt-out, the following confirmation is sent: "You will no longer receive messages from New Pathway Recovery. To opt back in at any time reply START."

Help

Recipients may text HELP for assistance, or contact the organization using the information in Section 5.

Carrier Liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
